By changing to a gear drive we were able to reduced chatter while improving shifting. QM has also made some changes to the friction materials to extend the life of these 8 leg clutches by up to 30%, that’s about 1/3 more passes per clutch! the QM 8 Leg Race Clutch is rated for 900ft/lbs
