Installation Instructions

1. Determine the location in the exhaust system where the articulating connection is desired.
2. Cut the exhaust tubing at that location, allowing space for this connection plus the swivel seal clamp.
3. Weld one half of the ball and socket assembly to each adjacent pipe end.
4. Seat the ball end into the socket end and secure with the Kooks JI-K61003 swivel seal clamp, torquing to the clamp specification.
5. Verify the joint articulates freely and that the clamp is secure before returning the vehicle to service.
6. Check for exhaust leaks after the first startup and heat cycle.
