Important GPF Compatibility Note: This exhaust is NOT compatible with vehicles equipped with a Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF). Installing on a GPF-equipped vehicle will cause a Check Engine Light.
Does my Maverick have a Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF)?
The easiest way to check is using your VIN:
- Look under the hood of your vehicle for the ‘Vehicle Emissions Control’ Sticker to see if GPF is listed (see image example on this page).
If your vehicle has a GPF, this exhaust will trigger a Check Engine Light.
